Install the Contact Form 7 Plugin Generate reCaptcha API keys Setting up Captcha in Contact Form 7 Adding Captcha into the Form Install the Contact Form 7 Plugin A plugin is a software component that adds extra functionality and features to an existing computer program. To install a plugin, go to the Dashboard and click on the Plugins menu. Then, select Add New Plugin. From there, you can search for and install any plugin you need. Google reCAPTCHA offers two keys: Site key and Secret key. To use ReCaptcha, you need to register your website and obtain the necessary keys. Setting up Captcha in Contact Form 7 After the fortunate installation, go to the Dashboard, click the Contact on the left side, then click on Integration. On the right side of the menu, you will find the option for “Integration with External API”. Please locate the reCaptcha popup and click on “Setup Integration” to initiate the setup process. After clicking “Setup Integration“, a popup will appear with input fields for Captcha keys. Paste your Site Key into the site key input field and your Secret Key into the secret key input field. Then click on the Save Changes button. You can see that reCaptcha is active now. Adding Captcha into the Form Eventually, we connected the reCaptcha to the Contact Form 7.
