What is the Plugin in WordPress?

A plugin is a software that is used to enhance the functionality or features of an existing program.

WordPress has more plugins that are used in daily routine and makes work easy. Plugins have a friendly interface for the user. Any user can use the plugin very quickly and can do his/her own work without any complexity.

Some of the plugin which is used mostly:

How to install a Plugin in WordPress?

First of all, we need to install WordPress and install the Theme properly in our system. We navigate to the WordPress admin panel and select “Plugins” from the sidebar menu. After that, Click the “Add New” button on the other side of the page to add a new plugin.

Enter the name of the desired plugin in the search bar. I would like to access Contact Form 7 and proceed to click on the “Install Now” button.

After the installation is complete, the “Install Now” button is replaced with the “Activate” button. To activate the plugin and access its features, simply click on the button.

After successfully installing and activating the plugin, it will appear in the list of installed plugins and in the sidebar menu under the Comments section.
